I have always dream dreams, just like Joseph, I know you all know about him 🙂 . Just because he told his bothers the dream he had, he was hated for it. I like to dream, I’m not talking about the images, thoughts or emotions passing through your mind during sleep. The dreams I’m referring to here is the voluntary and involuntary vision occurring to a person when awake; it’s an aspiration, aim and (or) goal. and of course it include images.

I have often heard people say things like; “stop building your castle in the air”. but you see, everything around us today was someone else’s ‘castle built in the air’. Your thoughts about things you’re aiming to do are your dreams and you clearly have an image of them. An Architect will always have the image of the castle he wants to build ‘in the air’ and its only after he designs it then you’ll see what he’s always dreamt about.

I dream everyday, as you read this article, and on this site (olaitanajiboye.com), I want you to know it was, at a time, one of my dreams for many years. I built it in the ‘air’ first! I was pregnant with it. This is my Passion and it persuades me a lot, but you’ve got to be determined to bring your dreams to reality. I have found out that the biggest obstacle of any human being is how to implement his ideas. I have always struggled with this in the past, but now I found how to walk through the walls of limitations around me. You must make up your mind to dream dreams, and if you must do, dream big!

Perhaps your dreams could have been similar to someone else’s,  or you discussed it with him  he went ahead to implement it and he’s doing well. Don’t get jealous of him because he’s not responsible for your failure, just follow your own dream. There’s no law against dreams, you can be anything you want. Set your gaze on your dreams. I used to have this little fear of ‘ what if it doesn’t work?’ Hey! it doesn’t matter how many times I get it wrong. I found out that it doesn’t matter at all, the most important thing is not to give up on my dream. Just because you failed an exam many times does not necessarily mean you’re a failure, there’s absolutely always a chance to make amend. As long as I am on the  face of the earth, I will never give up on myself and my dreams.

You also need people who believe in your dream, hang on, they don’t necessarily have to believe in all of your dream but, the people you need are those who could directly or indirectly help you towards the realization of your dreams. If you found yourself in the midst of those who always discourage you when you share your dreams with them; run! It’s as simple as that.

In conclusion, Perhaps you dream about something nice, keep at it. find out how you could work on realizing your own dream. You may start small today but you’re going somewhere. Don’t despise your little beginning. Never give up on yourself and your dreams no matter the challenges you might encounter, remember, tough time don’t last but tough people do. Don’t be driven by the money you’ll make out of it, be driven by the positive impact it will have on the society or your generation. Don’t try to be the first but be the best because the first might not necessarily be the best. Learn from those who are successful in the line of what you dream about. That’s what I do and still doing.

….’but you’ve got to be determined to bring your dreams to reality. I have found out that the biggest obstacle of any human being is how to implement his ideas. I have always struggled with this in the past, but now I found how to walk through the walls of limitations around me.’……….I would say i’m greatly inspired by this writeup..but i would really like more light on ‘how to walk through walls of limitations’ or simply put ‘overcoming procastination’..

sheggs, the only way you can walk through the wall of limitation is to shut your eyes and keep walking through them because they’re unreal; I mean you have to be bold and determined. don’t let anything distract or discourage you. Proscastination is a big obstacle that hinders success. to overcome it, you have to make up your mind to do what you have planned to do the day and time you want to do it. Don’t postpone it! do it now! get it out of the way and move onto the next item on your list.
